This teacup belonged to my mom.  Unique shape and design.  Some wear on the outer lip.   The pattern is on only one side of the cup.  It is marked "Japan".  Between 1921 and 1941, pieces destined for North American markets were required to be marked "Japan" or "Made in Japan".
