From 1982 to 2016, Lilliput Lanes cottages and Christmas ornaments were handcrafted.  Owner David Tate wanted to capture the vernacular architectural history of Great Britain.  Each location was researched before it was made of wax.  Then cast in amorphite (a special mix of gypsum).  Final touches were added individually, using stones from that individual model's location.
