The famous story of Don Quixote is well known but it is the age of this book that catches the eye.  There is definitely some damage - the first few pages have come loose from the binding and the paper is browning.  However, I picked it up due to the notation on the front page which states, "To George From Kerr with best wishes, Xmas 1895".  We believe the "George" this book was gifted to is Dr. George Manning - my daughter's paternal grandfather.
