Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel was a prolific German artist and Franciscan nun. Hummel's figurines were inspired by her drawings of rosy-cheeked innocent children. The first ceramic figurines were produced by Franz Goebel in 1935, breathing life into M.I. Hummel's drawings.
"Boy with Red Rabbit" is 5 inches high and depicts a boy off on a hunting trip when he encounters the very prey he seeks! Hopefully the sweet rabbit changes his mind about his quest. He is in perfect condition.
