In 1953 Juan, Jose, and Vincente Lladro founded the Lladro company in Almassera, Spain.  It was their mother, who had a passion for porcelain, who enrolled them at the Valencia School of Arts, as young boys.  In the beginning, they sold their wares at local markets.  However, the pieces attracted attention due to their precision and detail.
 
This is one of their historical pieces, produced in the 1960's.  Unfortunately, as depicted in the close-up photo, this piece has one index finger missing.  Hence the lower price I am asking for this valuable statuette.
 
The piece is just under 11" tall and approx. 6" wide.
