Royal Copenhagen's first Christmas plate was produced in 1908, and the tradition of only producing the Christmas plate in the year of its release has been followed ever since.  The mold for each year's plate is destroyed when the year comes to an end, and the plate can never be reproduced.

The blue and white coloring is unmistakenly Royal Copenhagen's trademark.  The two plates are from 1982 ("Waiting for Christmas") and 1984 ("Jingle" Bells) .  They are in perfect condition, measuring 7" across.

$40 for the set of two.
