The Otagiri Mercantile Company was headquartered in San Francisco from the 1960s to the 1990s, but most of its wares were produced in Japan.  Besides beautiful dishware, the company enjoyed offering three-dimensional ceramic items featuring farm animals.  This is a set from the sheep collection and it includes the cookie jar, three mugs, sugar and creamer, and pepper shaker (accompanied by a black-faced salt shaker by the same company).   These items are considered rare on the market.  Know any sheep farmers?
